Day 1 TANGER – CHEFCHAOUEN
Reception by our guide at the estimated time in the port or airport of Tangier and we start our route to Chefchaouen or Chaouen as many call it, located in the only intercontinental natural park declared a natural reserve of the biosphere. It is a village hung on the mountain painted white and blue, populated by wise, kind and respectful people, and that offers the visitor beautiful urban landscapes, beautiful samples of local crafts, and a peace and serenity that today is difficult to find . Day 2 CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MOULAY IDRISS – FEZ
We leave the rich world of Chefchaouen and head towards Fez, the first of the imperial cities that is proud to host one of the oldest universities in the world. On the way we will visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, very well preserved. We will also be able to see a panoramic view of Moulay Idriss, the holy city where we will have lunch and in the afternoon we will arrive in Fez to enjoy the sunset while we visit the walls and doors of their medina or simply to take the welcome tea from the Terrace of the Riad. Day 3 VISIT OF FEZ – IFRANE – MEDIO ATLAS – CEDROS FOREST – MIDELT
After a rich breakfast in the Riad, we begin our guided tour of the medina, declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. Its labyrinthine streets structured by guilds of potters, dyers, … etc, the bustle of its people will transport you centuries ago. We will notice that it is a medieval city and that time has stopped at the clock ” La Magana Bounania ” … 1200 years after its construction A wonderful! Not far from Fez we will cross through Ifrane, a residential center, before reaching the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. Dinner and accommodation in Midelt.
Day 4 MIDELT – DUNAS DE MERZOUGA – EXCURSION IN CAMELS AND NIGHT IN HAIMAS NÓMADAS
The time of the Atlas arrives. A surprising change of landscape awaits us: the road crosses the High Atlas and quickly we enter the Great South. The land becomes arid, with spectacular geological formations and deep valleys, such as the Ziz Valley, huge green spots in the middle of the desert. We will begin to observe mud architecture, palm trees, some distant kasbahs … we are at the doors of the desert. Arriving at the impressive dunes of Merzouga ” Desierto de Dunas de finísima arena ” where we will change the car for others of animal traction ” Dromedarios ” to enter the heart of the dunes and contemplate an unforgettable sunset. We will arrive with the dromedaries to the camp where we will stay in Haimas as those used by the desert nomads. Dinner and night in the heart of the desert under a spectacular blanket of stars.
Day 5 DESERT OF MERZOUGA – MARKET OF RISSANI – GARGANTAS DEL TODRA – VALLE DEL DADÉS
After a delicious breakfast, we have to say goodbye to the desert and we will leave for Rissani where we will visit its market (if we are lucky and if it is one of the market days: Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday we will follow the road to Erfoud where they will have the possibility of visiting the fossilized marble factory before continuing to the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, 1 hour later we will arrive at one of the strongest points of the High Atlas: The Todra Gorges The Todra riverbed has formed a huge vertical wall gorge proportions and of great beauty, it is a paradise for climbers and a unique place.Lunch on site and a half hour walk would be advisable to see and enjoy the Gorges in detail.In the afternoon we will continue to the Dades Valley, also known for the Valley of figs for so many fig trees that are in this Valley, passing by Boumalne Dadés we will stop in the ‘legs of a monkey’. as Gorges of Dadés.
Day 6 VALLE DEL DADÉS – VALLE DE ROSAS – OUARZAZATE – ALTO ATLAS – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we can enjoy one of the best views of Dades Valley. We will do it from one of the most strategic places that the mountains offer us. From there we can observe the amount of kasbah that there is and the picturesqueness of each of them. After several stops to enjoy the route of the Thousand Kasbah, the Valley of Roses and the great palm grove of Skoura, we will arrive in Ouarzazate and visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, former residence of the Glaoui or Pasha of Marrakech, Film Studios and Museum of the Cinema if you are interested. Lunch in the village and in the afternoon we will depart again towards Marrakech crossing the mountain pass of Tizi Ntichka with stops to take photos. Here we will leave behind the lunar landscape that will give way to the predominant green, ocher colors. Arrival in Marrakech around 6pm, dinner and accommodation in Riyadh.
Day 7 MARRAKECH – AIRPORT
Breakfast and free morning until the agreed time, transfer to the airport. End of our services.
