DAY 1: MARRAKECH – TIZI N’TICHKA – TELOUET – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE
Today, we pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech, and departure to Telouet over the High Atlas mountains that pass through the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2,260 m altitude), visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui in Telouet and stop for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we will go to Ait Ben Haddou through the Ounila valley with its Berber villages. You will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and then continue to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Ouarzazate.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE – SKOURA – KELAA MGOUNA – VALLE DE LAS ROSAS – LAS GARGANTAS DEL DADES – BOUMALNE – TINEGHIR – TODRA’S GORGES.
This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, Leaving Ouarzazate towards Skoura where we will visit the Kasbah of Amredil, a beautiful Kasbah located in the palm grove ‘Ruta de mil kasbahs’. Later, the trip continues through the Valley of Roses and then cross the field through with the possibility of visiting the family of nomads who live in caves. You visit the gorges of Dades and see the rock formations. After the departure to Boulmane du Dades and have a break for lunch. In the afternoon we continue Tineghir then to the Gorges of Todra to enjoy its wonderful views of the ravines. Dinner and overnight at the Kasbah hotel.
DAY 3: TODRA – TOUROUG CITY – TINEJDAD ERFOUD – ERG CHEBBI (MERZOUGA).
This morning, you will have to walk around the palm plantations and enjoy the panoramic views of the Todra River. Later, we headed towards Tinjedad for a lunch at a local restaurant. Later you will pass through several towns like us Touroug (Berber village) and Elkarf before arriving at Erfoud. You will visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating Erg Chebbi dunes, these dunes are also called Merzouga Dunes. Arrive at the hotel and get ready for a camel trip for an hour and a half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp or overnight in traditional nomadic tent. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA – HASSI LABIED – KHAMLIA – NOMAD FAMILY – FOSSILS SITE – DUNES
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise at the top of the dune in the Sahara desert and then have breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you ride your camel back to the hotel where you can take a shower. You will have a tour through the dunes in 4 × 4 that allows you to visit the black fossil volcanic rocks, visit a nomadic family that lives in the store, visit KHAMLIA village and entertain your spiritual music from Gnawa, and visit the lake Dayte Sarji that forms in spring that attract pink flamingos and wildlife. Then you will have a break for lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. After lunch, you will see the irrigation canal system and have a walk through the oasis located at the foot of the dunes. Continue to your hotel to shower and relax. Dinner and accommodation in a hostel.
DAY 5: MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – ERRACHIDIA – MIDELT – AZROU – IFRANE – FEZ
Today you will travel to Rissani and investigate the local market (souks). Later, you will depart to Errachidia Erfoud via, Aoufous and the Ziz valley then stop for a panoramic view of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region. Continue to Midelt through the port of Tizi N’talghamt and have lunch break. After lunch, you will be driven to Fez (medieval city) through the cedar forest near Azrou and the Middle Atlas mountain, with the possibility of seeing the monkeys of Barbary (monkies).
