4 Days From Marrakech to Fez Via El Desierto

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – The Dades Gorges:

After breakfast we will leave from the Riad south direction crossing the high mountains of the ALTO ATLAS through the mountain pass Tizin tichka 2,260 m of altitude. Visit to Ouarzazate and the Kasbah Ait ben Haddou, passing through the beautiful Valley of Roses to spend the night in the Gorges of Dades. Dinner and accommodation in Hotel.

Day 2: Gorges of the Dades – Todra Gorges – Merzouga:

Breakfast at the hotel. We head to the Gorges of Todra, where you can take a pleasant walk between its imposing canyon walls of over 200 meters, until the exit to the desert through the palm grove of Tafilalet. Arrival at the hotel at the foot of the dunes, where you can walk through the fine sand of Erg Chebbi, relax and enjoy this impressive landscape. At night, you will taste a delicious Moroccan dish. Accommodation in a room at the hotel.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi:

After a hearty Moroccan breakfast, we will climb to the 4 × 4 to begin our return around the dunes Erg Chebbi, desert region populated with sand: Among the numerous stops that await us, we will discover how and where nomadic families live in the area, oasis wild in the middle of nowhere, spectacular landscapes and small desert towns, palm groves … Inevitable stop on our way through the town of Khamelia, people from Mali, who will make us enjoy a nice concert of gnawa music, while we savor a delicious tea On our way back to the hotel, our dromedaries await us to depart on an hour and a half route, making our way through the dunes, until we reach the heart of the desert to contemplate the beautiful sunset. Sheltered by the Great Dune, and enjoying the music of the drums, dinner and Moroccan tea, you can contemplate the immense sky of stars and sleep in nomadic tents.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Errachidia – Azrou – Fez:

After returning with the camels and showering, we left for Rissani, the first imperial city of Morocco. Then we went through Erfoud, a town where the whole subject is related to fossils. We will pass through the Ziz Valley with its panoramic views of palm groves and gorges. Once past the port of Tizi-n-Talghomt, we then pass through Ifrane (called the Moroccan Switzerland) and arrive in Fez, the cultural capital of Morocco. We will arrive in Fez in the afternoon. Transfer to your hotel and end of our services.
